NANOFIX RECOMMENDS FOLLOWING PRODUCTS FOR YOUR WATER TANKS

Nanofix Sylo 200 :

Polymer modified liquid plasticizing integral waterproofing compound for plaster & concrete, conforming to IS 2645-2003 & IS 9103-2000.

Nanofix Flexeet :

Nanofix Flexeet is two components ready to use resin based Nano composite heavy duty waterproof coating.

Nanofix 2C :

This is a two component ready to use cementitious waterproof coating. One pack contains polymer and other pack is of selected blended cement with other additives. The filler part is added to emulsion copolymer ( 2 Kgs. of filler in 1liter of emulsion) and stirred well to produce a brush applicable homogeneous paint . Two coats of application is recommended.

NANOFIX Methodology for Underground & Overhead Water Tanks Waterproofing

You are advised to use Nanofix SYLO 200 (conforming to IS 2645-2003 & IS 9103-2000) @ 200 ml / bag of cement for construction of overhead tank.

Step-1:- Surface preparation

• Before carrying out the waterproofing job, curing of concrete should be sufficient.
• Surface should be dry cleaned by removing loose scales, dirt, dust, grease, oil etc. by wire brush.
• Any undulations if visible should be repaired with polymer modified mortar using Nanofix 0102 @ 20% by weight of cement. ( 200 gm / Kg of cement )
• The joint between vertical & horizontal portion of the tank to be filleted with sand cement mortar admixed with Nanofix SYLO 200 (conforming to IS 2645-2003 & IS 9103-2000).

Step-2:- Application of Nanofix water proof coating over the prepared surface

• Once surface is prepared, wet the surface to attain SSD condition before application of 2 coats of Nanofix 2C. inside the tank.
• Sprinkle sand once the second coat becomes tacky.
• Apply plaster screed using Nanofix SYLO 200 (conforming to IS 2645-2003 & IS 9103-2000). Maintain the thickness of plaster between 12 to 15 m.m.
• After curing the plaster adequately, apply two coats of Nanofix Flexeet. over the plastered surface.
• The surface coated with Nanofix Flexeet. must be air cured at least for 24 hours before using the reservoir. It is advisable to store the water after 72 hours.

Note :

• Use Nanofix SYLO 200 (conforming to IS 2645-2003 & IS 9103-2000) during plastering on external side.
• If it is required to take protection from external side before plastering it is recommended to apply 2 coats of Nanofix 0102 or Nanofix 2C.

Material Handling & Safety Information :

• Nanofix product should be stored in closed container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
• Maintain safety during execution of the waterproofing jobs and due care to be taken while handling Nanofix & other construction materials.
