Structure Waterproofing
Structural waterproofing is necessary to protect a structure from deterioration due to water ingression. Concrete is by its property a porous material, and water seepage may occur by hydrostatic pressure, short cyclical wetting and drying processes or capillary action.
Water can also enter through cracks and improperly designed or installed joints. Prior to hardening, concrete may crack from construction movement, drying shrinkage phenomenon, or from early frost damage. Concrete may crack after hardening from settlement, seismic forces, vibration, excessive loading or deflection from soil movement and loss of passivity in the core.

Nanofix SYLO 200 :
Nanofix SYLO 200 (conforming to IS 2645-2003 & IS 9103-2000) is Polymer modified plasticizing liquid Integral Waterproof additive for Plaster & Concrete.
This is a nano composite waterproofing additive which effectively prevents water seepage in plaster or concrete as well as it prevents efflorescence on plastered surface after reaction with cement. Hydrophobic crystals are produced in mortar pores of concrete and plaster after reaction with cement and additive.

NANOFIX Methodology for Structural Waterproofing :
Application of Nanofix Product Range :
- Mix cement, sand & coarse aggregates in concrete mixer for 2-3 mins.
- Add 70 – 80% of mixing water & mix for 2 – 3 mins.
- Add Nanofix SYLO 200 (conforming to IS 2645-2003 & IS 9103-2000) as per recommended dosage in the remaining mixing water & pour it to the concrete mixer. Mix it for 2-3 mins.
- For getting effective result of Nanofix SYLO 200 (conforming to IS 2645-2003 & IS 9103-2000) cure the applied surface properly.

Material Handling & Safety Information :
- Nanofix product should be stored in closed container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Maintain safety during execution of the waterproofing jobs and due care to be taken while handling Nanofix & other construction materials.
- Nanofix materials are nontoxic. Hands and tools should be washed with normal water.
